So proud of you!!

This child has my heart.  It was free dress day so getting ready was easy and quick today. No arguments about buttons or belts... just him. So I had a few extra minutes to just sit. And while I did ... I saw my baby...growing up - and I was just so proud of him... he's pretty darn cute too! Next day we had to dress up as "Bob" - his favorite character from his book report. He didn't want to at first... but of course last minute he begged.  I made a dog "collar" out of felt, made him a tail out of felt - stuffed with cotton balls - and then painted his face. LOL Hi Bob!! that day Deadra and I stole 30 minutes, caught up and played Skip Bo... it was a great moment.. she beat but but then I came back and won!  I think it was the luck of the headband she gave me for Christmas!! Then today... T and G had football so I was the driver.  Found out we were short kids for T's baseball game.  Tracy let G play and he was SO excited...

Last week started Spring Break... we weren't doing anything but I decided to make the most of it.  I'm REALLY trying to see life that way in general. Instead of trying to live the life I planned... I'll just live. So before school let out...I enjoyed lunch with Tristan and Braeden. My child didn't eat 3/4 of his meal... I tried not to notice. I just had fun. I had camp set up for T... he didn't want to go day one.  So, he called me in tears wanting to come and hang out.  So, I said yes. I can't do that all the time... but this time - I just... said... yes This is what I got in return! that was WELL worth it!!  The next night I forced myself to go to TYPOS.. ugh, I just hate social events.  BUT a former Secret Service an=gent and former Dallas Police Officer spoke on active shooter situations. While I hated what they were talking about I loved them and was so thankful for that knowledge. I was all giddy and I embarrassed my...
