A NY Thanksgiving!!


 Well, we were delayed a day BUT... we headed off bright and early Sunday to see the family in NY!!

We had a decent breakfast... followed by ice cream. OOPS






we landed in NY to snow and someone was excited to have a snowball fight!!








Pretty sure I won!


We came in and warmed up and then looked at old family photos - it was so fun!!

and of course, before we headed to NY we had to hit the snow!




Aunt Trisha came out to get photos of our tunnel and helped us dress our snowmen

then we grabbed a quick family photo

We then headed off to Mom's house.

I was not feeling well but we still had some fun


I love doing cheesy Christmas stuff!






then I helped break bread for the stuffing! AAAH the good old days!

and of course... there was sledding the next morning!




on a little snow but a lot of grass - still had fun!!


We then headed off to Bumpa's to surprise him for his bday...

There was a pie, a candle and singing!!


and a Christmas tree to make sure he celebrated the Christmas season!




Hurray for Christmas cheer!!


Then, we sledded down Bumpa's backyard, it was very, very fun!!

We used the Frisbees from Aunt J & Uncle J and most the most of it. This is one of about 40 videos we took!!  Poor Bumpa had a good wipe out but I won't post that one!







Then, it was time to say goodbye, I had to get ready to see my Ya Ya's!

4 out of 7 isn't bad!


On Thanksgiving, Aunt Jeanne and Uncle John were over for turkey and lots of fun family time!!

Aunt J showed off her family apron that we were lucky enough to be a part of!!


and then Uncle John kept T busy with money tricks!!


T loves our family so much!

By now, I'm feeling like poop so I cozied up and watched yet another Hallmark movie

And after saying goodbye to Bumpa, we headed back to Fairport.  Got a ride with Ya Ya Tracy, so it was fun to catch up and of course... she gave him a ton of candy!  Tracy!!!



We had dinner and then cozied up in jammies. It was only 8 degrees and -3 with the windchill!!





Then these two did the wishbone and (of course - T won!!)


Auntie T and Uncle Mike gave T an iTunes gift card so he was thrilled.

Spoiled rotten I say... but it was an amazing trip, just wish I didn't' have to spend time at Urgent Care.  So thankful for my family, for planes to get us there and for once... for an easy travel experience both ways!!!

I miss everyone already and wish I was closer... but such is life... just have to make the most of my week whenever I get there.  Thanks for the snow too God... T LOVED it!!!

You wanted this SO badly Tristan.  You are SO good at math... but it's been a very stressful time for our family.  You've handled it well but I just wasn't sure.  Then you wanted THIS one thing so badly. She turned one and the day was fun!!

Can't believe she's ONE already - Happy Birthday Baylor!!! she's injured so we couldn't take her to the dog park or running or anything she would have loved... praying her leg heals - can't really afford a $4k surgery!!! Then, Braeden came over and we headed to the company picnic! Awkward "family" photo... hahahahaha they spent most of their time in the bounce house... but there was some ping pong action as well... And when T got in line for the pinata... I warned them... that no other would most likely go after him... three swings and he sheered the head right off that thing! Lots of loot for all. The kiddos were pretty jazzed! Then, before the day was over we went out to watch my bosses all get hit in the face with pie.  $5 each throw and it all went to charity. I donated $20 (but I knew I couldn't hit them) and promptly gave those tickets away. Krueger... hilarious! Such...

And just like that... he's TEN!

Oh man, these posts are such a celebration but also SO hard. I mean, a year.  A YEAR has gone by. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?  And let's not dive too deep into that because that means I'm almost 48!!! But I love this kid.... BIG TIME He had 3 basketball games this weekend.  He killed it.  I love watching him play... he's just a natural.  But he's also kind.  If someone gets hurt, he's concerned.  He usually takes a knee but sometimes he's so worried the team has to jar him to do it.  That's something I love about him. He LOVES his friends. I mean LOVES and it is just the sweetest.  He's a stinker sometimes (who isn't) but he's a great friend that will stand by you, stand up for you and he will love you.  That's something I love about him. He loves animals.  He sees them, talks about them, recites the 9,000 facts he knows about them.  He loves Baylor, still talks about Aslan and Simba.  Another thing I lo...
